Who we are...
The Eternal Flames is a friendly social raiding guild who are building up towards Cataclysm Raiding. We raid both 10 and 25 man content... primarily raiding 10 man. With the new lockouts coming in Cataclysm, we would like you to either be part of our 10 or 25 man runs because then we are all doing the same content.
Realm Reputation and you...
As you are running around doing your daily activities in the game, I would like to let you know that you will also be representing The Eternal Flames. By being polite and having good manners, other guilds players will want to join us and bring skilled people to the guild... so behave politely to others and dont act like idiots.
Set an example and show we are better then the rest so that means no abuse in any channels.
Guild chat and Guildies As a guild, we will be raiding with a lot of other people and while you might not like them all, abusing them on guild chat or whispers isnt accepted and we ask you to bite your tongue and not say anything.Another thing to take into consideration is bad language... we have a number of members who are under 18 and we would like everyone to have fun. Therefore, we would like for all the adults (You know who you are) to watch their language in guild chat until 9.30pm. After that, you can go for broke and say what you want... Any parents that complain about the bad language after that time, use the mature language filter please.
After all, the reason we're here is to have fun... and we are paying for the privilege of having that fun.
Guild Forums
Don't go to nuts on the forums... you can flame people, but dont go overboard with the abuse. I wont hesitate to ban you from the board for a week.
Leaving the guild and rejoining
While I have no overt problems with people who leave the guild and want to come back again, some guild members have been pushing it a bit of late and have forced me into makeing this rule.
You can leave the guild once and rejoin us again and get your rank back. However, if you leave a second time and rejoin us, you have to start all over again from scratch as an initiate in the guild and earn promotion just like anyone else who joins the guild for the first time. If you leave a third time, you are not getting an invite back and any alts you have in the guild will be removed.
If you rage quit the guild... dont expect an invite back ever. Your name will be added to the shitlist in the members area as a never invite again person.
